Das Philips DST3020/20 aus der 3000‑Serie ist ein beliebtes Dampfbügeleisen dank 2200 Watt Leistung, Keramiksohle und 35 g/min Dauerdampf mit einem starken 160 g Dampfstoß. Es heizt schnell auf, und die Sohle gleitet leicht über verschiedene Stoffe, sodass Falten zügig verschwinden. Der Kalksammler mit Selbstreinigungsfunktion hilft, die Dampfleistung bei Leitungswasser zu erhalten, während Tropfstopp und automatische Abschaltung die Sicherheit erhöhen. Nachteile sind der relativ kleine 300 ml Wassertank, der bei großen Bügelmengen öfter nachgefüllt werden muss, sowie die fehlende einstellbare Dampfverteilung, was bei sehr empfindlichen Textilien weniger ideal sein kann. Für die meisten Nutzer bietet dieses Modell jedoch einen guten Kompromiss aus Preis, Leistung und Bedienkomfort.

Not entirely happy with this iron. It is difficult to find the right temperature for lighter fabrics and theciron doesn't go smoothly on them. I find it doesn't get hot enough for heavier fabrics. The water well is hard to open as well.
