Works great with Ring security system. Out of box battery was at 50%.

I purchased this after a drain blockage caused dirty water to flood into my basement. It was quite easy to connect to my smartthings hub and set up push notifications. A year later, the drain clogged up again and I told everyone to stop using water and ran downstairs. The alarm sound is not very loud, but the connectivity to a smart home hub is awesome. It is still using the original battery (50% charge left) after a year.

No success after re-set and following instructions to re-connect. returned to FIBARO for RMA.

What I'm a little concerned about is that when it senses water, sometimes it will say tamper alarm instead of water alert.I mean it work alerts you to something but I think it should say water when there's water and motion when there's motion. Fairly easy integration with zwave

Sensor would not connect reliably with my Smartthings network nor sense a water spill. Returned it.
