The new 4K scans of the film are amazing as well as both 1.0 and 5.1 tracks of the film are also amazing. It comes with many extras and a booklet. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The Breakfast Club is a total 80s classic that's earned a pretty sweet Blu-ray SteelBook. It's a shame Universal didn't take the opportunity to release the film on the UHD format. Maybe next time. Highly recommended.

The Breakfast Club has been a right of passage movie since it graced the silver screen way back in 1985. Writer/Director John Hughes at the top of his game and the film has endured ever since. Criterion gives this title a nice 4K scan with a smooth theatrical film grain appearance and crisp audio in both 5.1 & 2.0 mixes. The real winner here outside of the picture & audio quality is the slew of bonus material including an hours worth of deleted content some of which never before seen by the viewing public. Also included are vintage extras from previous DVD/BD releases thus truly making this the definitive Breakfast Club release! So show Dick some respect and put this Criterion in your Collection!
