hatte leider erst wenige male das Vergnügen den Reifen im Schnee zu fahren. Aber wenns dann so weit war hab ich ihn ausprobiert. Bei ausgeschaltenen Helferlein bleibt der Reifen auch bei durchdrehenden Rädern schön in der Spur, läßt sich im Drift auch schön wieder einfangen. Kein plötzliches Abreissen der Haftung, sondern kündigt sich gut an. Irgendwann ist der Reifen natürlich an der Haftgrenze - bei Bremsen, Lenken oder Beschleunigen, die Grenze zwischen Haftung und Abreißen kündigt sich gut an und ist kontrollierbar. Verbrauch hab ich allerdings relativ hohen - geschätzt 1/2l Mehrverbrauch

Having used Pirelli Scorpions as a winter tyre before, I've always been extremely happy with their performance. For a soft compound tyre the wear rate on them is surprisingly good - I usually get a good 3+ winters on them swapping them in in December and out again round about March. They get a lot of driving on pretty poor country roads as well as longer motorway runs and, when the weather gets bad, inspire a great deal of confidence. Grip on the snow is exceptional. They are a little noisier than the Pirelli P-Zeros that I run the rest of the year but that's to be expected - generally you only notice that when switching back to the summer tyres!

Da wir z.Z. Viel Schnee haben, bin ich mit den Reifen sehr zufrieden und werde sie gerne weiter empfehlen. M.f,G. Dieter Weise.

Staggered size makes tire choices limited as the rear tires are 325/35 R22. Probably not the optimal winter tire size, original winter tires for the car was 20”, but these looks way better on the car and handles excellent in any condition in my opinion, also in the mountains.
