Continental Wi car-tyres VanContact Winter ( 235/65 R16C 121/119R 10PR EVc )

Given we have a 5T 4x4 Campervan - we need to have tyres that are suitable for demanding conditions - and these tick that box. Have driven in snow, ice, deep mud, extreme downpours - and tyres have not let us down. They are quite on freeway and hard wearing - we had to replace one due to puncture and one due to wear on inside - not a fault of the tyres. They are not as ‘sexy’ as one of the AT tyres out there - but are solid performers and have never failed when we have asked them to perform

I previously had Michelin Agilis Alpin on my Mercedes Vito (W638, front-wheel drive). With the Michelin I stopped in 10cm of grass with 2cm of snow, couldn't start anymore and had to fit snow chains. The Continental VanContact Winter has much better grip on snow and I've never had such problems again. I find tire wear a bit too high. The diesel consumption is good. The tire is particularly useful to me because of its handling characteristics on snow.
