Installed this on a 2002 Jeep Wrangler. Can’t beat the price. The factory sub was shot and dry rotted. My choice was between this and an $80 after market “replica” sold on quadratec. Because of where it sits and the small size, finding a sub that would fit in the center console is tough. You will have to drill a few holes and break out some unnecessary plastic, but for the $60 saving it was worth it. Took me about 45 minutes start to finish for the install, 30 of which you have to do anyways because you have to remove the center consol. So really, for an extra 15 minutes you save $$. For the wiring, use the red and black wires (red is positive) and tape off the brown and white as they are not needed.

I put these in the place of my rear speakers in my 04 Passat which called for 2 ohm speakers and if you've shopped for 2 ohm speakers they are NOT cheap. Also this is only ONE speaker so if you're wanting a pair order a second speaker. I almost made this mistake and noticed in time to receive them both on the same day. It does NOT come with any kind of wiring or adapter so order that too. I just wanted something to get by until I can afford and am ready to put a more costly system in. Also note I'm using my factory head untit which is the monsoon system to push these and it's plenty enough to me. I'm not looking for kang thumper boogaloo out of balance washing machine type bass.

I purhasfed this speaker and shelfed the project unil recently. This speaker is rated 300w peak, 210rms. I had it in a 10"x6.5" sealed tube, and powered it with a Tasko PA20 which is rated for 2x25w@8ohm and bridged mono 50w@8om. This is a 4ohm speaker effectively getting up to 50w from 1 Tasko ch or 100w when mono bridged. On 1 ch 25w it was quiet and distorted. On 50w bridged the feed wires melted out of the cone.

Works flawlessly as a cheap passive radiator for my diy bluetooth speaker. Doubles my bass(drops to an impressive 45 hz!!!) And really makes guitars sound immersive. I Plasti dipped the cone black because the neon yellow didn't match my low key design. You definitely get $10 worth of speaker though, super cheap quality. To give you an idea on how cheap this is, the basket is literally plastic and light literally shines through the thin plastic cone, so expect $10 quality and NO MORE! I personally wouldn't put more then 25 watts to this no Matter what Pyle's specs claims if you do put power to this. I am glad pyle made a speaker this insanely cheap though, saved me some money on buying an actual passive radiator. Probably going to buy 2 more to add more bass to my boxed 6x9s in my car.

I was unsure if I was going to be happy with my purchase however once I got them installed I was very satisfied I needed just a little more bass because it was too much treble sound in my car by adding these I got the exact base I was looking for for a inexpensive pair speakers these were wonderful. as far as being easy to install it depends on knowledge and what you're putting them in.
