Synology Pci-e M2d18 Erweiterungskarte Auf X2 M.2

I installed this card on my Synology DS1819+. Bought a pair of Crucial P1 500GB 3D NAND NVMe PCIe M.2 SSDs ( CT500P1SSD) to go with it. Install was easy. Card works great.

This card works well for caching. But if you expect to use the SSDs as separate volumes, then that's not an option. Make sure you get the type of SSDs your server supports (SATA or NVMe). This card, itself, supports both.

Connected to my DS1819+ with two m.2 PCIe and they're working flawlessly. Some people have said they don't work with PCIe, but it's only specific DS models that it works with. Make sure yours is compatible before buying this.

Straightforward adapter card that accepts 1-2 SSD. All required hardware included. I put in two identical 1 TB WD Blue SSD. Quick installation, quick set up in DSM, and now big fast SSD cache is up and running. Already seeing performance bump. If you have a Synology NAS that is compatible, this is a no-brainer. What are you waiting for?
