Sonos Port

not really qualified to talk about latency etc, but when it works it's fine, and when the wifi signal gets interupted, or whatever happens, and it acts like a car radio going into a low signal area, then it annoying

I asked for advice and as always it was very helpful and honest. Bought 2 Sonos era 100 and Sonos port....great quality products and great sound

The advice given meet my criteria perfectly. The sound from the speakers is excellent and its portability is great. Great does and people who listen and care.

Although not cheap, it's a lot more reliable than my old Apple AirPort Express that kept dropping out for AirPlay. Downside, which is a technical inevitability, AirPlay-ing CDs or vinyl to SONOS speakers alongside one's own speakers will incur a 75ms delay resulting in an echo. A Blustream AD11AU would sort that. I recommend this device.

Plugged into the tape loop of my amplifier, any source connected to the amp can be streamed to other rooms as well as coming out of the amp with no delay between rooms
