Rode Sc4 Trs Auf Trrs Adapter Für Smartlav 3.5 Mm

I tried all types of workarounds to attaching a Rode VideoMic to my IPhone XR, and probably spent more money on off-brand cables in the process than what this cable costs. Dont make my mistake, just get this cable from the start, you wont regret it.

I plugged this in between my Rode VideoMaker mic and my iPhone XS and the XS switches to the Rode from the internal mics. Problem solved.

Seems a little simple reviewing this simple of a product but it does exactly what you would expect. If you want to use a wireless mic with mini 1/8 inch and send it to a phone, you need a 4 prong jack so the phone identifies the mic. This works. Quality of cable is good with only minimal use so far. I see no reason it would fail with care. I would recommend this product.
