Davines Oi/Oil Absolute Beautifying Potion 50 ml 50 ml

My holy grail and favorite Davines product so far. I have been using this for 2+ years now. I have tried many other “shine/smoothing” oils/serums for over 20 years and this is my favorite. I like it because absorbs without being greasy looking. Just 1-2 drops is all I need on my ends to eliminate frizz and calm down split ends. I have tried the oi - all in one and that leaves my hair feeling like it has product in it. This leaves my hair weightless and light. There is a scent, but it fresh and light, I love it. Also, I apply to my hair when it is fully dry (after blow drying, or after any heat) - slightly different than some suggested ways to use.

Wonderful product, adds shine and does not grease the hair. It makes it stronger and helps detangling. Smell is amazing, but very strong so if you don't like it watch out, because it will follow you the whole day. It soakes right away and does not leave residue like other oils. Can be used even by people with oily scalp. Perfection in a bottle!

This OI oil claims to be a beautifying potion. It was Roucou Oil, but feels very much like a lighter version of a drugstore oil that contains silicones. I really wanted to like it, as it wasn't inexpensive, but just found it to be too heavy, even in the smallest of quantities. A bit disappointing because this brand claims to have many wonderful hair products.
