This is a very good shredder. Very quiet and fast. Does not take up alot of space. Would highly recommend.

I purchased this to replace a Staples brand shredder we had for 2 years that finally broke. Although this shredder does not have as large a capacity as that old Staples shredder, this shredder is much more quiet, the bags do not collapse when the unit starts to fill, and there are safety features that the old unit did not have. We shred a fair amount of cardboard boxes from deliveries of small items, and so far this unit has handled it well. Overall, I am pleased with this Fellows LX210 microcut shredder!

I had a previous Fellowes shredder which I was extremely happy with. After seven years it died. I purchased a different shredder that I was not totally happy with. I purchased an additional Fellowes shredder based on my previous experience. It works well with the exception of a constant clicking / tapping noise when in use. I thought maybe it needed to be oiled. That did not solve the problem. I also emailed Fellowes to inquire as to whether or not cards could be shredded. I never received a response.
