Fellowes Lx85 Schredder

This is great product for home business. I recommend this.

I have been using Fellowes shredders for over 25 years. This is my 3rd and is the most sophiticated shredder I have used. I use my shredder for getting rid of my previous business accounts.

Used for about a week. One morning I smelled something burning!!! No flames but the shredder smelled of smoke so unplugged and returned to PX

This shredder was to replace another shredder that went bad. This has been a great replacement. It's quick, smooth, lightweight, and user friendly. The old shredder was heavy, cumbersome and was a pain to empty. So far this shredder has been the total opposite. I gave an average for Jam Resistance only because I haven't had any experience in that area yet. I also like that it kind of pauses once you put the paper in to shred. It turns on to let you know it's about to shred but it pulls the paper in but doesn't start shredding until you push again. That's great to give you a second thought if you accidentally put the wrong paper into the shredder or if you change your mind at the last minute. I think that's a great feature.

Ideal all around. When I found it was made in Itasca, a town 20 minutes south of me, I was really impressed. easy use all around and nice lock/unlock function. the drawer has a window so you can see how full you are and it can handle shredding for more than 20 minutes. nice caster wheels on the bottom that won't likely break off like the one I had previously from costco. keep it up Fellowes!
