I'm surprised by how much paper can handle, most of those thin magazines you get in the mail, you can shred into cycles. Unfortunately, you don't get too many cycles before the strips inside trip the internal switch requiring you to compress the contents of the trash bin. This would be a great shredder had a purchased across cut version.

While it was my fault I did not notice it was a 'strip-cut' (not a cross cut), even the strip cut is not serviceable. The strips stack up WAY too quickly and have to be pushed down in the recycle bag nearly every time you shred any documents.

strip cut means you are not going to really feel secure when you throw out this trash. and to think this was the third and all i can say is don't waste your money on this one
