Akaso Brave 4 Ultra HD 4K Wifi Action Camera With Digital Zoom

The AKASO Brave 4 is a disappointing action video camera. Despite being advertised as a 4k camera, it can't record 4k video. Its video quality in FHD is also poor, and its frame rate options are limited since it can only record FHD video at 30 fps or 60 fps. On the upside, it's incredibly lightweight and portable. It also does a fantastic job smoothing out camera shake in FHD, and it's waterproof, but only with the included protective case, though we don't currently test for this.

I installed (in the wrong location like an friggen amateur,live and learn) the waterproof casing on my DR650SE and whacked the little beauty in and set off. I first went up the back way of the Adelaide hills along a well known and loved weekly track for a lot of serious road bikers. I then went out to a mates farm with a motocross track and a dam near Murray Bridge. Resolution setting was only 1080p 30fps as a test. It handled the jumps, it loved the dam. Not a lick of damage, didn't move once and the image stabilization is on par with anything out there. I kid you not people this thing is the real deal, well done AKASO! I'm now trying to purchase their home security cameras but unfortunately they are sold out in Australia, and well they should be cos this stuff is quality! Get on it or go home humans!!!! Killer Stuff AKASO!....seriously.

Parts are broken. Nuts without threads. Male threads don’t work. (I’m an engineer)

This seems to be a really good middle of the road action cam, I purchased this to do motorcycle trip videos, it’s worth purchasing the extra mounts etc, took a few times reading the online manual to work out but it’s nothing to complicated, pretty happy with my purchase
